In 1776 Johannes Giesser, a master Blacksmith and Grinder, laid the foundations of the company Giesser. By 1865 the first knives were being produced and sold in Winnenden, Southern Germany. Today, Giesser are recognised as a leading manufacturer of professional catering knives to both the European and worldwide market.
